Usually, babies learn to walk by falling every now and then; young Munna’s parents also thought that his falling was natural when he started learning to walk. One day while walking though, he almost injured himself against a wall; that’s when Munna’s parents realized that he could not see clearly. They were at a loss for what to do– the family’s income was only enough to sustain them. After a thorough examination at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in Rampur, India, he was diagnosed with a Congenital Cataract in his right eye and another cataract was starting to develop in his left eye. Munna underwent cataract surgery in both eyes and he can now lead an independent and happy life!
