We, as a team, work with our partners to have the greatest impact bringing sight. Lots of time on the whiteboard.

How did you first learn about CBI?
I first learned about CBI in the stands at a rec-league softball game while watching my husband.

What drew you to CBI originally? And how has CBI changed since?
The ability and accessibility to drastically change someone’s life of blindness to sight for such a little amount. Since I started in 2008, we have gone from changing individual lives to changing communities by building the capacity within our partners through training ophthalmic personnel, building eye centers, creating pediatric screening system – all items that leave a lasting impact when we are no longer around.
