Sabino had been blind since birth, due to congenital cataracts. He and his brother are orphaned and live in extreme poverty in Paraguay and could not afford eye care. In 2014, Sabino regained his vision after receiving a free life changing cataract surgery and for the first time was able to attend school with his friends.
