Nkonjeni Hospital and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Durban, South Africa The Nkonjeni Hospital and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital are two hospitals in Durban, South Africa with no eye care doctors or facilities. CBF is sending eye doctors from the United States and other developed countries to these hospitals in its effort to help eliminate the global problem of blindness in children and adults. The Foundation will provide all the supplies and paramedical help with no cost to the patient. The major goal will be to train local doctors to make the program self-sustainable in 3-4 years.
