Lion’s Eye Hospital Nairobi, Kenya
The Combat Blindness Foundation partnered with Lion’s Sight First Eye Hospital in 2007.  The hospital is located in Nairobi, but provides eye care to those living throughout all of Kenya.  An outreach program provides eye care to rural areas through the use of mobile eye care facilities.  CBF works in collaboration with the Lion’s Sight project to support eye care screenings, equipment needs and medical resources in all of Kenya.  Since beginning the partnership in 2007, CBF has provided 7,000 free cataract surgeries.

Mahatma Ghandi Hospital, South Africa
The Mahatma Ghandi Hospital, in Durban, South Africa, is a part of the KwaZulu-Natal Eye Care Coalition.  Staff nurses and volunteers provide cataract surgeries and other primary eye-care services daily to South African patients in need.  The Combat Blindness Foundation provides support and funding for these cataract surgeries and other medical equipment.  In fact, in 2008, it provided the facility with funds for the Phaco machine to aid in eye care.
